We have been providing recruitment services to Residential Children's Homes throughout East Anglia since 2017
Absolute Care was set up in 2017 by experienced recruiter and care professional Ben Carter who has spent nearly 20 years in executive level global recruitment and over 10 years working with children and young people in children's homes throughout East Anglia.
Ben has worked globally as a headhunter across C – level positions and also in executive level technology recruitment both placing candidates in senior leadership and technology roles. He also worked for a number of years in senior retained recruitment.
After relocating back to East Anglia he began working with children and young people which was a big change from the corporate background he was used to.
It became apparent to him just how much reliance there is within the residential childcare industry on agency staff. He then set about creating an awesome temporary staffing team and this aspect of the business continues to provide suitably qualified candidates to our clients throughout the region.
He is also an approved foster parent and has spent time working in local authority children's services.

Our aim is to deliver excellence across the whole service from an initial client meeting / interview to supporting workers while on shift. We are still a small enough team to deliver this type of service.

Our small team is made up of skilled support workers who are have the necessary skills and knowledge of what it takes to work in a children's residential setting. We are dedicated to building our team to deliver excellence outcomes for the children and young people we get to work with. With years of experience in the field, our team is well placed to offer a team member when your service needs it most.
Most of our workers have recognised qualifications relative to the sector and many years of experience. We have confidence that they can add value to a home in need instantly in addition to supporting homes in crisis situations.
We utilise relevant training programs to enhance learning and practice and use a mix of online and face to face learning and share and discuss best practice when we find it. Also underpinned by trauma informed practice, current statutory legislation and Children's Homes Regulations. We also consider Serious Case Reviews (SCR's) to enhance practice and look to root our practice across the 9 Quality Standards.
